Speed Lathes

When Crozier Machine built its first Speed Lathe, the phrase had not yet been coined. Crozier called its machine the SPEEDY Polishing Lathe. It remained that way for 5 years until the Speed Lathe label was first used. It was a very speedy machine to use and very easy to operate.

The Crozier Speed Lathe is used in a variety of industries for many second operations. You can deburr, grind, sand, polish, turn, lap and assemble. Anything that can be held in a collet, can be worked on. Many people have used the Speed Lathe as a building block to build custom machines for their applications.

Our air-collet closure is designed and built as an integral element so that low speed restriction or cylinder wobble is minimized.
	Speed Lathe Model 3CPL - 1 HP, 3 phase motor Price: $3,850 The Crozier Model 3CPL Speed Lathe is a chuck model designed to handle the odd jobs that do not fit in a collet or for small batch jobs. The unit is small enough to fit on a table.
	Speed Lathe Model 60DC - 1 HP- DC Drive, from 0 to 3600 RPM Price: $7,500 The Crozier Model 60DC is the first Speed Lathe designed with dual spindles for the polishing and deburring of a single part. A part requiring a two step operation, can be accomplished with a one machine tool.
	Speed Lathe Model 30AC - 2 HP, 5C Collets, from 0 to 3600 RPM Price: $4,250 For those who need extra power for sanding or building a special purpose machine, we offer the Crozier Model 30AC. This is our standard head unit powered by a 2 horsepower motor.
